TAGGED-True Confessions

It took an extended vacation to Simpsonville, SC to find the time to respond, but I did it...now who to tag. Is there anyone left??

10 years ago:

Feb 1998…..hummm…..I have no recollection of last weekend, let alone 10 yrs ago. I live in the present due to short term memory loss. I can tell you that I lived in Spokane and had for 6 yrs at this point. Thanks to Amy, I can tell you that Hailey was in her HS years, Amy had begun her college career and Derek was dealing with the rabid dogs of Gautemala. I can assume I had more hair, less poundage and was a faster motorcycle rider. I did recall that it will be 18 yrs this August that my mother left this mortal sphere. I also sadly can say that I am not the person I had hoped I’d be 10 yrs later, but gladly am not the man I was 10 yrs ago either.

5 things on my to-do list today:

Today?? forget today, it will take care of itself. How about 2008? Okay, Ride Resurrection Trail on mountain bikes between Hope, AK, and Cooper’s Landing AK in May (39 miles). Ride the STP ( Seattle to Portland) 204 miles July 12th with Derek. Explore Gargantua Cave in BC July 14th, ride my off road motorcycle every free weekend this summer and fall., hike to Stanley Hot Springsin the Lochsa/Bitteroot Wilderness in Sept. and get out and play every chance I get.

Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:

hummmm….I have everything I need, so I guess I’d give it to the church or maybe Mitt Romney so he could buy the presidency and help make great changes in our country.

2 of my bad habits:

Snore and pick my nose and that’s just for starters.

5 places I have lived:

In a cave, in a tent, in a tree, in a car, in the womb…..okay, Boise, Portland, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Maracay, Caracas, Maracaibo, Puerto Ordaz, Hemet, Burley, Boise, Great Falls, Kaysville, Edmonds, Spokane

5 Jobs I have had:

Sorted pop bottles for my uncle when bottles were washed and refilled, never had a daily paper route, farm work, bucking hay, picking potatoes, moving sprinkler pipe, repairing snowmobiles and motorcycles, selling wholesale groceries, life insurance, auditor, insurance underwriter.

Things people don't know about me:

…. I hope they never learn. Okay, let me think. I once won a drawing where I won a turkey and an insulated vest. Okay, I have given it some more thought, I am O Positive blood type, how many of you knew that? My first bike was a girls 24” J. C Higgins, I am a Star Scout. I was once rescued thanks to my homing pigeons delivering an SOS and map to my parents. I think you know everything else about me.

East meets West

Here we are hiking Tiger Mtn Rd within a few minutes of Derek and Rachael's about 12 noon on President's Day.
Lydia agreed to pose on this rock by a creek for a photo.

Home sweet??? Home about 8 pm the same day.
Thankfully it's all melted off the walks and porch.
Free snow! U pick snow.
