INSULT TO INJURY

Well we picked up another couple inches last night and the five day forecast is more S-N-O-W! Yup you got it, but hey it's filling my favorite lakes, rivers and water faucet! Here is one during the day, one of the Stake Center and one of the neighbor's growing icicle collection.

At least you have a stake center. Our brand new bldg was flooded (frozen fire suppression lines) and we can't use it for 2-3 months. We are supposed to get Big Snow tonight.

I just got in from shoveling and blowing snow for the second time today, each time I moved 2-3 inches. Yesterday I dug out the car and tried to start it, yeah, it started. I uncovered it and now it gets a reprieve from the cold and snow by being tucked into the garage while we're gone. Hey, no building, no meetings, right? Wrong?

We'll be got up at 3:30 Monday and guess whet? It was snowing and had built up another 5 inches. I ran the snow blower up and down the drive and walks and made our way out to the airport for our adventure to South Carolina. WE MADE it at 8 pm Eastern Time.

Don't go back there! That looks bad! Hopefully you have a nice calm winter next year when we come! :)

those icicles are AMAZING!! We only had a few around here (mostly on parked cars), but it made me think of Spokane in snow storms. I hope it's all clear tomorrow when you get home! We're melting here and it's like driving in 4 inches of slurpy - wet and slippery! But at least we're on the way back to normal.
